Tasting Note

2022 was a delightfully mild growing season, coming off the back of improved rainfall after three years of drought. The mild summer, cool nights and continental climate influences have crafted a wine that speaks of region and season. The fine elegance so typical of Eden Valley Shiraz is immediately apparent, with a full flavoured medium bodied palate of red and blue fruits, spice and cedary oak, hints of dark chocolate and some earthy tones, finished with fine and shapely tannins.

"A deeply coloured high-country shiraz with bright, almost jubey-edged blackberry, blood plum and black cherry fruits studded with dark spice and hints of roasting meats, turned earth, licorice, oak spice and dark chocolate. Plenty of fruit depth, taut, tight tannins and pastille-y fruit flow on the exit."
