"This feels more typical of the Craiglee chardonnay compared to 2023, but hey, that happens with the swings and roundabouts of climate and the like. The vagaries make for interest, of course. Sumptuous feel in a chalky, sleek package. It delivers green apple in a hazy, juicy form, peppery and cinnamon spice, sandalwood notes, dried peach, faint Brazil nut notes, a gentle buttery elements, general toasty notes too. It feels all very well balanced, even and flowing, a coolness and chisel of some stony minerality there too Pedigree here."
