The wine is open and approachable, with aromas of raspberries and strawberry supported by the spice of the barrel. Medium-bodied, with lots of crunchy, bright red fruit flavours, a touch of cedar and fine, but firm tannins on the finish. Very balanced with a savoury depth and interest on the back palate.
