Charlie Seppelt & Skye Salter were aspiring young winemakers tallying up vintage experiences when they met in 2008 at Hardy’s Tintara in McLaren Vale. After a collective 46 vintages all over the world it was finally time to make wine for themselves and their long-awaited project Paralian Wines was born in 2018.
Choosing specific sites for each variety lead them to the northern reaches of McLaren Vale where their chosen red varieties, Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive. Site and vintage expression is their fundamental belief, working with growers to ensure quality and ideal ripeness is met with balance and varietal expression in mind.
