The Montagny 1er Cru from Janots & Bos is a fantastic full-bodied wine every year, often considered by experts to be comparable to Meursault or Puligny. The nose is highly floral, evoking a meadow full of flowers. On the palate the wine is soft but full and elegant with very pleasant mild acidity. Alongside the floral notes a lot of yellow fruit emerges. This is a refined wine with a subtle peppery note and a touch of saltiness. The finish is long and soft. It’s an ideal aperitif wine.
