Tasting Note

Grown by Simon Harte at his Gladysdale Vineyard. Whole-bunch pressed, fermented in barrel then progress through fullmalo. The aromas are a complex mix of floral aromas and stonefruit, with leesy nuttiness complemented by cream and subtle spices.

"Rob Hall's first chardonnay from the Full Moon vineyard in Gladysdale. 100% mlf and matured in older puncheons and hogsheads. A bright green gold. There's good energy on the bouquet, which features aromas of stone fruits, green apples and just a touch of flint. The palate is persistent and taut and the finish is orange pithy and long. Excellent drinking now and over the next three to five years."
