A batch that underwent extended maceration ended up being the predominant component in the blend, giving a savoury and structured backbone to the wine. A batch of 100% whole bunch ferment adds complexity to the aroma and chalky tannins to the finish.

"From the Full Moon vineyard in Gladysdale, and a new wine for Rob Hall; 10% whole bunches and matured in seasoned puncheons. Bright garnet. A little closed initially before revealing aromas of red and blue fruits together with some spice and savoury notes. There's good depth on the nicely structured, medium-bodied palate and I can see this only getting better over the next four to six years at least."
